Ricochet is a famous country music band coming from the city of Oklahoma. The band was originally founded in 1993 by brothers Jeff Bryant and Junior Bryant.The original band lineup included the Bryant brothers, Heath Wright, Greg Cook, Teddy Carr, and Eddie Kilgallon. Over the course of 20 years, more than 10 musicians joined and left the band. Despite all this, the band survived and Ricochet tickets are still a huge thing today in country music circles.For Ricochet, things started to happen in 1995 when the band got signed by Columbia Records. The band debuted with a self-titled album. Three titles from the album ended up in the Top Ten on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts.One of these hits, “Daddy’s Money” even got gold certification in the US.

The band remained very productive during the late 1990s. “Blink of an Eye” came out in 1997, followed by “What You Leave Behind” in 2000.

Retail tycoon image codes. Tangerine Dream's first official live album, Ricochet, is very much an album of two sides, each developing their recently pioneered Berlin-School sound into new directions. The first is heavy on electric guitar and percussion, for the first time since their albums on Ohr at the start of the decade, although the direction here is more focused and, combined with layers of synth and mellotron, is more in line with progressive rock than their earlier krautrock leanings.The second side is particularly intriguing. Starting with their most straight-forward music yet, a beautiful solo piano piece, it quickly launches into the sequencer section - and then never lets up. Ricochet Part Two is one of the most intense pieces of music TD have ever recorded, and to see it live must have been incredible! As the piece gradually morphs and changes over the course of twenty minutes, the true skill of the band as programmers shines through, and it's a real shame they never managed to do anything on this scale again.

On the other hand, it could be seen as them pushing the sequence-based sound as far as it could possibly go, so they moved onto newer things.Neither of the sides features the atmospheric, spacey sound the group were previously known for at this point, and that in itself marks the album out as an important step in their continual evolution. Context aside, Ricochet stands up as an excellent album and a necessary listen for anyone interested in pre-dance electronic music.
