Tenchu Wrath Of Heaven Rikimaru
This trick works better on high roof levels such as Rikimaru's first mission. Ifyou have trouble anticipating when to perform a stealth kill, use a Poison Rice.Throw it in front of the guard and slice him before he eats it.
Then, retrieveyour rice and repeat the attack. You must be on a roof or cliff to do this best.Run or walk up against an enemy's side or back and press Square (default) tostealth kill him. You can also stealth kill him in front, but you have to do thisvery quickly, before he notices you. Note: All stealth kills must be executedbefore the enemy notices you. Also, you can see different animations for eachcharacter depending on which side of the stealth kill is in view. Each characterhas a different stealth kill. With Ayame, you have to get grand master on the9th or 10th level and you will get some poisonedblades.

This is the sequel to a tale of two shadows born into darkness and destined to die in darkness. From the Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven Instruction Manual Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven is the true sequel to the original Tenchu: Stealth Assassins (Tenchu 2: Birth of the Assassins was actually a prequel).
They will hurt you for a few seconds, butit will stop. Whenever you hit somebody withthem, it poisons them. Good for fighting bosses, hit them and run away and let the poison work itsmagic. You can take them on every mission, theywill be on a blade rack thing right beside theblades that kill the undead. When you equip them,i suggest waiting for the poison to wear offbefore engagin in combat.
Mission 5Rescue the Kidnapped Princess!Note: There's faulty floors throughout the castle that I won't mention, simply because there are far too many of them. They are usually found in locales with enemies, so you'll know almost always when to expect them. Keep moving and you'll avoid them (even though the holes will still appear), but constant movement is the key.
If you fall into one of these holes, you'll die and have to start the mission over again!Just know that the enemies in this area are not human, but instead, wooden robots that can kick the crap out of you if you aren't careful. They are for more lethal than the human guards you've faced thus-far, so just keep that in mind when you run up to one to fight it.
Be as stealth-like and 'ninja' as humanly possible in this area, or you will regret it - really quickly. As you begin in this dark castle, one of these wooden enemies will be in front of you. There are two wall supports on either side of you where you can hide from him, but the one on the right is closer, so run up to it and stay behind it.
Keep an eye on the wooden enemy's movements, and as he walks towards your position, stay tight against the wall. As he turns around to walk away, quickly and quietly run behind him and stealth kill him to get a Kanji and a quick twenty points.
Now it seems as if you've reached a dead end, but that's just not the case, my dear. Look up and to your right, and you'll see an alcove above. Grapple using your grappling hook to this location, and pull yourself up to this new area. From these platforms, jump to the next platform carefully, making sure to not jump too high that you hit your head and fall into the lava below. If that happens, just grapple out of the lava - it's surprisingly not that lethal to Rikimaru. Jump across the lava to the long platform, then go to the left side of this platform and look ahead. Grapple to the platforms ahead, which are red and black in color.
Jump from the first one to the farther one, but don't jump down below. Look for a wooden enemy walking around. When he's around the bend (which is VITAL as you'll find out in a minute), jump diagonally at him and take his life. Do not jump straight ahead into the corridor, for if you're observant, you'll see a slit in the wall ahead which actually chucks spears when something walks in front of it.
And trust me, you don't want those spears penetrating your body. If the spears are chucked at you, jump over them if you can, and then continue into the next small room. From this small room, bear through the left door into a corridor, but stay tight against the wooden platform to your right. Jump up to the platform and hang from it, but don't pull yourself up, for there is a wooden archer up here, keeping watch as the corridor turns.
If he sees you, he'll make you pay the price, so when he turns his back, run up behind him (after pulling yourself all the way up to the platform) and deliver a stunning stealth kill to collect 20 points and a Kanji. Do not jump back down to the floor below, as it will collapse underneath you in a few places. Instead, run along the wooden platform, and as the corridor turns, you can then jump back down to the corridor below, but make sure to grab the Ninja Rebirth from the red box at the end of the wooden platform. As you want to go left into the next room from here, look above the door to find some spears sticking downward.
Approach it slowly and get close to it to trigger them downward, and as they go back up, run through the door. You'll find a small sword-wielding enemy in here. Approach him from behind and stealth kill him for a Kanji if you can. If he spots you, engage him in battle or attempt to lose him so that you can again qualify for a 20 point stealth kill. These smaller enemies seem a lot more observant than their larger counterparts, so keep that in mind. From here, go right into the next room, which is small but quiet of any enemy activity. The next room, however, leads you to a platform with an enemy wooden archer.
Swing the camera around so you can see him from the room prior, and when he turns his back, quickly run up behind him and stealth kill him. Do not jump into the pit below you, or you'll get mauled with all sorts of bad stuff. Instead, use your grappling hook and aim it beyond the platform on the other side, to the wood above. Then, grapple across this long and deep chasm to the other side.Once on the other side, there's a wooden staircase leading upstairs. Don't just rush up the staircase however, as there is another small wooden enemy above and to your right. Duck down and walk up slowly.
Watch his movements ever-so-carefully, and when you see him turning around, quickly stealth kill him before he knows what hit him. When he's dead, look around yourself. It seems as if you've hit a dead end, but this is not the case. Look up and observe your surroundings, and you'll find that there's an alcove above, on the other side of the room from the stairs. Equip your grappling hook and work your way up to this alcove. Run down the short corridor and you'll find yourself in yet another dead end.
It's just not the case, however! Coconut queen. Look along the bottom of the walls to find a semi-circles in front of some of the walls.
Lean against each of the walls with circles in front of them, one of which will actually turn and bring you to a new spot in the castle. Once in this new area, carefully proceed upward.
At the first door heading right, there's an enemy patrolling within. When he turns his back, slice his wooden head of stealth-style, and get the Kanji for doing so. There's nothing else of interest in that room, however, so leave that room and proceed up the previous room to another door heading right. Go into this next room, then turn the corner and head left. Don't rush into anything though, for as the corridor swings left, there will be an enemy archer in the area.
Stay against the left wall and swing the camera around. This enemy walks back and forth between the room you're in and the next room. When he turns around and goes into the next room, follow him in and stealth kill him for a Kanji and a 20 point bonus.
Then, follow the pathway around and to the left, and down into a ditch at the end of the room, in which another circle is underneath a wall. Have Rikimaru lean against the wall, and from there, you'll end up in a new area of the castle. In here, run straight down the corridor. At the end of it, look up and to the left where you'll find a small alcove, in which is hiding a Health Potion. Grab it and then head back to the beginning of the corridor. Look up and you'll find that you can grapple up on both sides. If you're facing the door in which you entered into this corridor in the first place, grapple up towards your right, but don't pull yourself up. A small and pesky wooden enemy patrols the corridor ahead.
Watch for him to turn around (he's actually quite predictable) and go in for the stealth kill. With him dead, turn around and double-jump over the gap to the other side.
You'll see a room ahead of you with an odd metal contraption above it. Don't enter into this room! Stand underneath this contraption without entering the room itself and look up.
Grapple to the wooden board above the room. You'll now see why I told you not to enter into this room. Once inside, the room starts being bombarded with Smoke Bombs and Grenades. You can still grapple up to this same wooden board once in the room, but why do it under fire when you can do it in a calm way. Once on this board, go forward and to the corridor ahead. From this small corridor, you can go straight ahead and fall down a huge shaft to the ground below, or head right. Head right into this room.
Once in here, use your grappling hook to get across the huge gap to the other side. Once over the gap, there's an archer to your right. Wait for him to turn his back and then go in for the stealth kill. Once he's slain, go up the stairs he was guarding to the next floor. In this area on the platform above, a spear-wielding foe patrols the area.
When he turns his back, jump up there, pull yourself up and deliver to him a deadly stealth blow. With him out of the way, go to the end of the short corridor he was guarding and look both up and down. Below you is a chasm full of spears and whatnot. No matter how tempting it is to believe that it's at trick to not go down there, you want to have nothing to do with that pit. Carefully aim your grappling hook and grapple to the alcove above it.
Carefully and quietly get against the wall on the left side, for yet another of those pesky bastard small guys is patrolling this area. Take him out with stealth if you're able. From here, go left at the first possible time you can. There are mysterious holes in the ground that trigger a machine in the wall behind you to shoot Exploding Arrows. Jump and flip over these holes, and quickly bear left down the corridor. Go left across the white tiled floor, but don't turn right.
Stay against the wall and observe the small enemy in the next room as he goes back and forth. When he turns his back, slay him for a stealth kill and Kanji. You should, by now, have nine Kanji, which will give you the uber-useful skill of hanging on ceilings, or the Cling to Ceiling ability. Go down the corridor and you'll come across an outdoor-looking pathway which red trim. Follow this linear pathway across the gap (jumping over a hole in it when you need to). Don't run right into the building on the other side before observing the position of the wooden guard within.
Once you see his position and he has his back turned, run in and slay him with a stealth kill. After him, there's a gap in the floor. Don't fall into this gap or you will die! Instead, grapple to the alcove above it. Once in this alcove, proceed farther up the corridor until you see two guillotine-like blades going up and down. Time them carefully, then jump into the pit and across to the other side, picking up the Health Potion as you go. Once on the other side, wait for the enemy ahead to turn his back, then jump up and slay him. From there, simply grapple across the large chasm beyond him, then run up one flight of stairs, and the other.
In the room at the top of the second flight of stairs, you'll face a boss.Boss: The Doctor and His InventionThis is an interesting boss fight (although not hard) because you're fighting a human being (the doctor) with a huge machine on his back (his invention). The invention/doctor combo has four primary attacks. It can shoot at you with machine guns and grenades (which is quite damaging, but rare for him to use unless you keep your distance continuously throughout the boss battle), he can pull an E. Honda-like move (for those of you familiar with the Street Fighter series) in which he flies across the screen in an attempt to head-butt you.
His two primary attacks, however, is to try and slap you with both hands, and a spinning attack in which he turns into a tornado of sorts and attempts to damage you. It's lucky that he primarily uses both of the latter attacks, because unlike the first two attacks in which I mentioned, he leaves himself wide open to a counter-attack upon using those attacks. Block his two-part tornado attacks (don't fall for the tornado's slow down, as it starts back up again before shutting off completely).
When he starts to lose steam and spins slower, try to get a three or four hit combo in there. If and when he falls for the ground, go for a stab on the ground and then play defense again. If he goes to slap you with both hands, jump back, and as he misses, go back on top of him and begin another combo. Heal if you have to, but this boss is rather easy.
